Beautiful People was written after a painful experience with someone close to me who was willing to betray friends and family in the pursuit of fame. My way of dealing with that anger and heartbreak was by writing this catchy punk-pop song. I later sent the song to my friend Yoyo and my Northwest bandmate Ignacio Simón, who both recorded guitars on the track. And together, we produced the song and Ignacio mixed it.
