I wrote Thieves about how, at 24 years old, after a series of unfortunate family events, I decided to save money, quit my job, take a boat to England, and pursue my dream of becoming a musician.

The day before I left Spain, while packing my bag, I put on Spotify's Discover Weekly playlist. Jackson C. Frank's Blues Run the Game started playing. It ended up being the best decision I've ever made.
